FAQs

Do I Need to Be Injured to Do Clinical Pilates?

Not at all! Clinical Pilates is for everyone — not just those recovering from injury. It’s a safe and effective way to build strength, improve posture, enhance mobility, and prevent future injuries.

Whether you're managing back or neck pain, recovering from a sporting injury, navigating postural challenges, or simply wanting to feel stronger and move better, Clinical Pilates can help. It’s suitable for all ages and fitness levels — from growing teens and busy professionals to older adults and those with more sedentary or physically demanding jobs. Clinical Pilates can enhance sports performance, benefit the elderly and sedentary or manual workers. It is also an excellent support before, during, and after pregnancy, helping to maintain core strength and reduce discomfort.

Reformers vs Mats?

Reformer Pilates: Performed on a specialised Reformer machine, this style uses springs and pulleys to provide resistance-based exercises that build core strength, stability, and flexibility. It’s ideal for those wanting a low-impact, full-body workout with added support and control.

Mat Pilates: Focuses on bodyweight exercises performed on a Pilates mat, often incorporating props such as resistance bands, Pilates rings, and balls. Mat Pilates is perfect for improving posture, core strength, and mobility with controlled, precise movements.

What to Expect

  • A Full-Body, Balanced Workout – Every session focuses on controlled movements that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and posture.

  • Expert Guidance & Modifications – Our instructors ensure proper technique, modify exercises to your level, and provide hands-on correction where needed.

  • A Low-Impact Yet Effective Approach – Pilates is gentle on the joints while providing an incredibly effective strength and flexibility workout.

  • A Calm & Focused Studio Atmosphere – A distraction-free space where you can connect with movement and build confidence in your body.
